I am a watcher of the History Channel here in America and imagine my pleasure the other night when I caught a show called WILD WEST TECHNOLOGY when it featured the battle of the Alamo. And in it they mentioned that Santa Ana used rockets in his attacks. The same rockets that Sharpe uses and abuses in your books! The host, David Carradine of KUNG FU fame, even mentioned the the article Congreave (hope I spelled it correctly) wrote about his invention and they actually showed a copy. ALSO, it seems Santa Ana gave a straight forward attack in the “European” style and had his men put on his dress uniforms, infantry a blue very similar to French uniforms, and the artillery in red, very similary to the Brits.
