WOW!! What a great read. I just finished “The Last Kingdom” and I was blown away. I enjoyed the first half so much that I actually waited until I could take a day off and enjoy the rest of it in one leisurely, long, afternoon sitting. When is the next installment due for release? Please don’t take this as an insult, but I was unaware of your work until I picked up a copy of the The Last Kingdom. Now I guess I’ll have to start reading the Sharpe or the Arthur series to pass the time until the next Uhtred novel appears. Actually, my discovery of your work is probably good timing since I was feeling a little depressed after having finished the last Patrick O’Brian novel. Now I have a new series to obsess over. Mr Cornwell Your Sharpe books turned me from someone who never picked up a book to a readaholic. I’m going through your books as well as Simon Scarrow’s, Conn Igulden and the new Jack Absolute series like wild fire. I’m not a great fan of the Starbuck series as its not my cup of tea but I’m hanging on for more with the Grail and the new Viking set.
