I just ordered the last of the Sharpe series from Amazon. I have to say, it’s bittersweet. I’ve so completely enjoyed the series (I’ve read them all in chronological order in the last 6 months) that I’m going to feel like a friend is gone when I’m done. In addition to the Sharpe series, I’ve also read the Thomas of Hookton series as well as your American Revolution book. I have to congratulate you on so completely holding my interest in these books and these characters. You have an incredible talent for military history intertwined fact and fiction. How much research do you do for your novels prior to writing? Again, thank you again for sharing your imagination with me. I would have been very bored with mundane existence without your writing.
