Hello. I’m sure that you recieve many letters such as the one I am writing now, parising your work, and I hope that I’m not being repetitive in my comments. I have not been a “Cornwell Reader” for very long, but in the short time that I have been reading your books they have become a favorite read. I started out reading the Grail Quest trilogy, and it sort of just expanded from there. I am now a faithful fan of the “Sharpe Series” although I must admit that I haven’t read them all. (I’m working on it) The particular enjoyment I find in your books is the fact that each book is, in itself, a joy to read. I have read many books that are part of a series, but each book in the series is unfinished, requiring you to buy the next in order to find out what happens in the end. Your books are different. Each one is a complete story that just makes the reader want to read more. I find that these books are almost impossile to put down once they are started and I can only do it when I’m too tired to read any further. The best part of coming home after work is knowing that I have a good book to read, wondering how Sharpe is going to get out of the Tippos’ prison, or what Hakeswill will try to do to Sharpe next, etc, etc. I look foreward to each new book that I open up, and when I am done, my appetite is only whetted for more. In short, keep up the good work, and thank you for your contribution to the great works of literature. Thank you for your time, Matthew Whitaker
