Dear Mr. Cornwell- my sister, who has all your Sharpe books, and has read them all at least twice, got me addicted this Fall. I enjoy them very much, they are incredible page-turners. To show you how much I love to read them, I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning to finish “Waterloo”. Now I did already know who won at Waterloo, but I couldn’t go to bed without seeing how Sharpe and Harper weathered it all. My problem now is this: I am suffering Sharpe withdrawal pains. I don’t want you to take Sharpe from Lucille anymore, but perhaps you, like Patrick O’Brien, could make one year have 24 months in it and put him back in Spain or Portugal again to help ease the pains? I thank you so much for many hours of total escape. PS I notice that some people put their age so I will too. Priscilla Gadzinski, 73, White River Jct., VT
