Dear Mr. Cornwell, I’m happy to say I must take back my comments of a few weeks ago, regarding how terrible the “Sharpe” videos are! I’ve just made it to “Sharpe’s Company” (and probably won’t make it any further, the local library only has the first three, and I don’t think I’ll find them anywhere else in Tasmania), and I have to admit, I’m actually enjoying it. I have gotten used to the characters, that’s definitely part of it, but the acting has also improved! Actually, I still think “Sharpe’s Rifles” was pretty bad, but, as a series, it’s rapidly gotten much better. Have just ordered “Sharpe’s Christmas” & “Sharpe’s Skirmish” from the net (library doesn’t have them either) and I’m greatly looking forward to reading them when they arrive. Thank you so much for creating Richard Sharpe, he’s brought me much enjoyment over the years, and I’m sure he will continue to do so in the future. Regards, Jenifer.
