Dear Mr Cornwell, I have been a keen reader of your novels for sometime now and enjoy them greatly. I work as a prison officer and just thought that you may like to know that I convinced our library to purchase several of your books and have begun something of a following of your novels within the high security wing I work in. There are many men who now indulge daily in chats of history within the wing and the library (and I) have had several requests for books on Napoleonic and ACW eras. Thankyou Sir, for introducing an interesting view of history to many men who despite having history themselves also have the benefit of a more knowledgable future through the writings you have given to us all. Yours sincerely, Alan Taylor. Christchurch NewZealand.
