Mr. Cornwell, I am 19 years old and attending college in the United States. I very much love to read and I sometimes believe that I was born in the wrong age. First off, let me say that your stories are wonderful. The historical accuracy with which you write perfectly molds the story around it. It truly is impressive. I especially enjoyed the grail quest series and that is what my question is on. I am sure you are busy…I have many questions but I will only ask one considering I do not want to be overbearing and take up more of your time than is necessary. In your grail quest series and historically, the longbow plays a large part. You write very knowingly about shooting a longbow. I recently bought one of my own and intend to get quite decent at it. However, everything I have learned has been instinctual and self-taught. I was wondering if you do actually shoot longbows and if so, then I suppose I wonder if you have any technical tips…do I truly draw the bow back to my ear? Do I sight down the arrow?
