My very respected sir: Please, excuse my poor English, i hope you can use all your imagination for understanding this EMAIL. Your books upon Sharpe and the Napoleonic war captivate me; many nights the early morning surprises me reading your books. I´m a poor Spanish reader desperated because here, in Spain, your last edited book upon Sharpe is ” the Sharpe Triumph” ( the 12th of the saga) and the next comes in 2005. Its a long wait time. The first book I read upon the Napoleonic theme is a short book entitled The Shadow of the Eagle, an amaizing story upon a Spanish regimet “recruited” for the Russian campaign, if you have the time and you can find an English edition, you must read it; the author is Arturo Perez Reverte. He has written another interesting saga, The Captain Alatriste. Excuse me for recomending to you some books, but when I begin to talk over books I can´t stop myself. Congratulations for your splendid books, it´s a great pleasure to read them. Yours faithfully. Jose Federico Molina Uribe
