Recently I found a copy of your first book written under the name of Susannah Kells, and because my treacherous memory let me down, I bought it! I loved all 3 of the Susannah Kells books, and for many years sought further works, in vain. I now know why there are no more. I did not ever see The Aristocrats. For that particular genre, they were among the best I’ve read. To my mind they were outstanding. I am an avid reader and always follow up, that is seeking out every book ever written by a particular author. Whilst I read the story behind the creation of Susannah Kells, and also the reason for the sudden cessation of the author’s work, all I can howl is “How could you!!??. I’ve not yet read any Bernard Cornwell books, are they written in a similar style? I can fully appreciate becoming weary of writing, it can be lonely and unrewarding. I’ve tried writing books, and filmscripts, I love creating people and inventing lives. In closing I will say, thank you for writing three wonderful books, at least I have them. Also I have just finished rereading them. Jill Jurd
