Mr. Cornwell, thank you so much for your books. I can’t begin to relate to you how many times I’ve read and re-read the Sharpe series and the Warlord trilogy. As someone from an Asian-Pacific Islander heritage I’ve found your stories of bravery in the face of insurmountable odds transcend cultural boundaries yet vividly define the very culture and era they’re staged in with honor. I’ve made sure to collect a second set for my son due this December, so that when he grows up he may enjoy them as much as I have. I also have a rather large Irish setter whom I’ve named “Harper” and a recently acquired English Bulldog pup whom I’ve named “Sweet Willy”. There’s nothing like taking a morning jog and yelling the names “Harper” and “Sweet Willy” when running up a hill. Of course the wife doesn’t understand but she’s happy enough I do take morning jogs with the “lads” while she sleeps in. Cheers and my utmost gratitude for your works. Antonio De Castro
