Dear Mr Cornwell, I have never written to an author before, but having seen this impressive website it would appear rude not to! How on earth do you find the time for such prolific output – and answer questions from fans – do you ever sleep? My wife and I have just finished Heretic, we have read the Warlord trilogy, Stonehenge and now the Grail quest. We are constantly impressed by the rich attention to detail and its apparent historical accuracy. Although my wife is less keen on the gorier elements, she enjoys the plotlines immensely. I’ll not attempt to flatter you with any further praise no matter how well meant, and I’m not going to insult your craft by commenting on storylines, suffice to say – keep on writing:) It may make you money – but it keeps us VERY entertained, and how nice to see that references to St George can be used for something to other than when England plays football (soccer) – and even more violently! “St George, St George!” They do say that the plague could even have been caused by a virus – and could be on the way back, odds on surviving when there’s no mains water/electricity/gas/sewage? Head for the hills;) Very best wishes and warmest thanks. Ian and Linda
