Dear Bernard, I am a great fan of your Starbuck novels. I enjoyed them immensely. I understand the reasons why you put the Falconer Legion on furlough but I’m writing in the hope you might soon be considering returning to the series? The characters are excellent, your plots compelling, and I for one am desperate to find out what becomes of heroes and villains alike. Failing good news of more confederate adventures from you, would you recommend any other civil war fiction? I’m particularly taken with the exploits of the confederate forces.
