Dear Mr Cornwell. I am one of your biggest fans from Bulgaria. Your historical fiction is so thriving that I just cannot pass to mark your vivid imagination and thoughtful research. I think I posted you a while ago like 3 or 4 years ago. I am librarian by profession and I am also writer in my language Bulgarian namely. I greatly admire your work and place you very high on historical fiction agenda. I read a lot and you are my favourite authors, although I stick a bit only with “Mediavality”, if I may put it this – Grail Quest, Warlord Ch and Saxon Stories, that’s what I’ve read, oh and also Agincourt, which was brilliant. :) I want to ask you coupl’a of questions: how many more books about Saxon Stories, after “Death of Kings”. Back ago when you were doing the third book – you said 3 or 4 more. Will the fourth be the last? Are you plotting new saga in a new medieval setting? What are your desires to explore? Piracy? Inner-court machinations? Common-law life? War-games? Or all in the cube? :) Whatever you do I really want to read your thriving historical novels. I really want something deep and dark. I would really love to read something about Middle East and probably Far East motives. I recently read Conn Iggulden’s Conquerors, which was mindblowing. I also read Valerio Massimo Manfredi “Empire of Dragons”, which was fantastic and engaging historical adventure-fiction, that really wrapped me out. I know you are deep into British history and models, but I would really love you to explore into the depth of probably Exploration Era and Renaissance England.
