Dear Sir I have just finished “the Fort”, what a truly great book! I am an officer within the Norwegian armed forces, and this book really took me as a “storm”, I didn’t know the story about Penobscot from earlier, so for me the outcome was uncertain nearly right up to the end!I truly felt sorry for Peleg Wadsworth, he wanted to make a great change, but did not get the right support. Brigadier McLean, you really managed to “give” us in a very interesting way, a proper officer he was! My daugthers gave me the Fort and Azincourt, even from another period of time, I will start immediately, and Sir, I can’t wait. Thank you for giving us this great pleasure Sir!
