I visited Fort George many years ago whilst on holiday from England. I knew nothing of the Penobscot river battles but learned of them as I toured and read more. Your book brought the whole incident to life for me and I thank you very much. I guess you have no film rights to look forward to….I can’t see Mel Gibson making a blockbuster of this event.
