Dear Mr. Cornwell, It was by pure chance that I came across The Saxon Stories, I mean how often do you think 16 year old girls read your books? Ever since the first book I read Ive been hooked! Ive read all the Grail Quest Series, all The Saxon Stories, Stonehenge, and all The Warlord Chronicles. I seem to have read them as obsessively as a typical rabid teenage girl. I just recently finished Excalibur, and I tell my friends everything that happens in your delightful books, though I seem to be the only one who finds them so excitable. I have noticed that most the women in your books die. So when I was telling them how sad the end of Excalibur was, I said it was because Ceinwyn got to live you killed everyone else! Perhaps Im the only one who finds that funny. But Im not criticizing the ending. If in your books everything was happily ever after they wouldnt be so good. But, anyhow, I just wanted to complement you on your works, they have ruled a whole year of my life, and that I will keep reading your novels, even the Sharpe ones- all 20-something. Im sorry I wrote such a long comment. Thank you for your time and for writing such great stories!
