Hi Mr Cornwell, another random question from me i’m afraid. I was watching a documentary about Alfred the great last night called “was Alfred truely great” they took an indepth look at his life and gladly they decided at the end that he was truely great and the father of the English nation, although they did suggest a few times that he was probably more ruthless then people always interpret him to be. I was just wondering out of all the famous people in history who you would most like to meet and why? Mine would be Alfred as I think he’s fascinating and I live in the south west so he is close to our history. your opinion means a great deal to me and I’d love to know who you’d like to meet. thanks for your time, Ian
