So Mr. Cornwell. I’ve been writing on and off as a hobby and escape for nearly a decade and I constantly run into the same problem. I was wondering, since you are one of my inspirations (that’s not flattery, its just a fact) I was wondering how you tackle the same issue. When you have a create a story, do you meticulously plan out the plot and events and then send your characters through them? or is it more of a general direction which you nudge you characters? (albeit historical fiction already has a conceptual framework available)
