Hi Bernard, I have been reading through the Sharpe books again and I’ve just started Havoc, and it occurs to me that throughout they mention Vimeiro and a few other of Wellingtons early victories in Europe, and then I noticed the gap of a few years between Havoc and Rifles. I was wondering if you have considering writing another Sharpe book to fill this gap, or if I am simply missing something? Also love the new website! Keep up the brilliant work,

This is going to be yet another question about the next Sharpe book I´m afraid !! I won´t bother you asking when the next novel will appear (you´ve said often enough 1-3 years time) I was just wondering if you already know when and where it will be set.I presume it will be another story that fits over the original series or are you going to leap into the unknown Richard Sharpe future?Thanks for taking the time to read this question.
