In one of the replies you mentioned that you have just finished the book about Thomas of Hookton.(Poitiers).  What I was wondering, if it’s already finished  is four months standard so that the publisher can proof read and ask you to alter things?   Not asking for quick release or sneak peak. I tend to avoid those even on your own site. Just curious what needs to be done between the time when a writer has finished his book and when it’s published?
As for Sharpe, there are still enough conflicts he could have been sent to after 1821 (greek independence, burmese war,Portuguese civil war,ashanti wars and of course 1830 revulotion in france.) In short I would like to see Sharpe getting in some mess at an older age :)
