I have just started reading your books and just loving it. I am managing to read one a week thanks to my local library. It is very interesting to learn about the French and English conection. A few years ago I built a stained glass window of Joan of Arc and while incorporating as many symbols as possible into the window I did as much research as possible though it was difficult to find literature. Whenever I read your battles in France especially The Archer it makes me think of Joan and I imagine what you might do with her story. I mean how amazing is that a teenage peasant girl leading the armies of France and from Military accounts I did find she won all her battles until her  jealous underlings stopped following her commands, whether voices of God or not quite intrigueing. I did make a beautiful stained glass window with her battle standard her period armour the castle she was held in and the sign of the heretic. Alas one year after having her installed in my home my house and
her burned. A second burning for Joan. Don’t know what an English, protestant girl like myself is so intrigued with a French Catholic Saint but there you go. Maybe one day I will create her again even better and I know you don’t want story suggestions but you will have to admit she would be an amazing character for you to bring to life.
