Thank you for your novels, it was picking up a copy of Sharpes Enemy in 1994 that got me into reading.

I was reading Phillip Haythornwaite’s Wellingtons Miltitary Machine in the campaigns section regarding Egypt in 1801 and noticed that Major General David Baird led an expedition from India that arrived after the battle. I was wondering if Sharpe might arrive a little earlier in an advance party.
