Hello from sunny Brisbane.  I have never in my wildest dreams thought that I might like to pour over lot of little models on a large table showing how a battle was won (or lost).  But after finishing the Grail books, I think I might like to see how the battles mentioned were fought, even the last somewhat little battle for the Castillion d’Arbizon.  Do you ever indulge in seeing a reconstruction before you write about a battle?  Perhaps you have a set of little knights on horses and those wonderful archers..  I have decided that in my next life (after the ones where I am a mosquito or a fly) I would like to come back as an English archer, it will have to jostle with being an archaeologist or a heavy metal drummer, but it might win out!
