Hi Mr Cornwell Firstly I would like to say that I have just finished re-reading all the Sharpe novels and have enjoyed them immensely. I am also currently reading Sir Charles Oman’s History of the Peninsular War and feel that your stories blend very well with it with reference to the British involvement. Whilst reading the stories and the history my only visual reference excluding the maps in the books has been a map of the Iberian Peninsular from Muir’s Historical Atlas. My question to you is would you know if the excellent map used in the History Channel series Sharpe’s War is possible to obtain or know whom I could ask about finding a copy of it?

I am enjoying the Saxon stories but as a fan of Shelby Foote’s History of the Civil War I was wondering if you had any plans to do for Starbuck what you have done for Sharpe with regard to involving him throughout all the major battles and events of this most interesting period of military history?
