Dear Mr Cornwell,

I am an avid reader of your books for two reasons:

1. I love your dynamic style of writing, which tends to lead the reader on the edge and I for one cannot wait for the next page to turn (btw: I have a copy of everyone of your books).

2. Being a fan of history across the ages, I love this key ingredient within all of your books.

I have (and I don’t know why) an real keen interest in the American Civil War (I’m a Welshman living in deepest, darkest Surrey) – maybe it’s the maverick in me and I cannot but want to support those good ole boys in butternut and grey!

Do you ever intend re-visiting Major Starbuck and the Falcouner County Legion to continue his story right up to Appotamax?
