Hello Bernard once again.

A quick question I literally thought up this afternoon. When you first sat down to write Sharpe’s Eagle and as you continued to do so were you already planning/thinking up his next adventure, or was it simply a case of getting Eagle finished and then starting on Gold?
Or was it more a case of you had Sharpe’s Eagle which you were working on and when ever ideas came up for your next story or future stories you simply jotted them down on scrap paper?
