Firstly please can I say thank you for your books. Aged 13 I read Sharpe’s Sword in 1991 and I can say that this book got me into reading, before then I did did not really enjoy reading. Ever since not only have I read all of your books but many many others. My favourite of yours must be the Arthur trilogy.

My questions now. Firstly have do you ever intend on writing a series set in the English Civil War? I think that would be a fantastic setting for a series in the future. Secondly and lastly, what books got you into reading as a child?
