Just finished 1356. Congratulations on yet another excellent tale – another hit for sure. Now I know you have thought about a sequel to ‘Gallows Thief’, do you now have the time to reconsider the fates of Rider,Eleanor, Sally and Sam.? The Immoral Marquis and his dastardly fellow Seraphim would surely like revenge on these heroic young people and the projected cigar importing enterprise would be a great place to start.
Seriously, I surely cannot be the only fan of these fantastically worked characters to ask for more, there must be more of us who want to hear your take on the early years of cricket too.
I have read all of your novels and sincerely thank you for the many hours  of pleasure they have provided – not to mention the insights into our history. Please make an old man(76) happy by telling me you will at least consider it.
