Dear Bernard
After loving the Fort (though the original title sounded better) As its been mentioned you spend time in Charleston, I wondered if you had ever considered writing about the British siege during the American Revolution or maybe have a go at the most famous (and loathed) British soldier during the war Banastre Tarleton
Finally the battle of Lundy’s Lane’s 200 yr anniversary is coming up and was largest and bloodiest battle of the war of 1812 (Canadians call it there Gettysburg I believe) I wondered if you would ever consider a 1 book about that battle. I know you cannot get Sharpe to it but howabout another character like Fredrickson. It was a hell of a fight and both sides can walk away with honour from it and the British troops in that war rarely get much coverage as they should.
Yours sincerely
Geraint
