Dear Mr. Cornwell,
I was wandering through a used bookstore the other evening and came upon the Richard Sharpe books. Now, I have them all and have read them all several times but the one thing I would really like to know is this. Does Sharpe go out quietly and happy or does he go out in noise and fury, and some would argue, just as happy? I could never bear to read the book that dealt with this but am curious to know how you envision his end.
Thank you,
David N. VanMeter
