I just finished The Fort.  Congratulations on another great story.  I felt I should take a little time to tell you that your novels have been the stimulus for several trips I have made, including Agincourt, Crecy, and multiple battlefields on the Iberian peninsula.

I was particularly interested that you documented the early career of Lt. Moore.  Sometimes when we fly from the US into the Mediterranean area we fly over Corunna and I think about General Moore’s death there while  loading his British troops onto ships to avoid capture by Napoleon’s troops.
Thanks again  also for 1356 as I read a detailed book about the Black Prince’s travels before the battle of Poitier at your suggestion.
