Hi Mr Cornwell,
I am presently reading your book entitled Wildtrack & on page 69 you write the following ” ne’er cast a clout till May be out’ they say in England. No doubt you are aware how the Scots say it. “Dinna cast a cloot till May is oot.”  This saying has been attributed to Robert “Rabbie” Burns the great Scottish poet. Is that correct?. I have read all your books & especially liked the Sharpe’s series. Recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good read. Keep on writing.
Greetings from Canada & best regards,
Neil Dempsey.
