Dear Mr. Cornwell:

Just wanted to say that I’m enjoying reading the Saxon Stories the second time around. The first time through I was reading with a curious and critical eye since I considered myself a “well-read” Viking expert, and wanted to see how you treated MY ancestors, with all due respect to yours, the Anglo-Saxons. With the exception of the few trivial points I included in my first email some time ago, I think you’ve done a fine job and I’m just enjoying the stories now. I am curious how you’ll deal with the period after Alfred’s death when “England” did become a part of Denmark thanks to Sweyn “Forkbeard” Harldson, and Knut “The Great” Sweynson (sorry, Uhtred).
