I know you must get tired of hearing this, but I simply cannot contain myself: please deliver more Saxon books more rapidly! If it sounds selfish, it is. I am being entirely selfish. I wait for the book and read it in one day! I know that it must take a lot of mental labor and research and time to craft such wonderful stories. I can only imagine how much effort the entire creative process entails. It takes me a week just to make a shopping list for the market. But as a rabid fan of Uhtred I find the wait agonizing. Especially as the tale gets better and better each time. I am sure no one rushed Michaelangelo. No one was yelling at Picasso to hurry up. But in this day of social media, the internet, and its ilk, our patience grows thin.
Don’t get me wrong. I will wait forever to get a hold of Uhtred’s saga. If it takes a year, it takes a year. But just know that a large community awaits each release with child like anticipation. I am sure you know that.
You know what, forget what I said. Take your time, for I would rather wait a year for a good book, then read tripe. But try and hurry!
