OH dear! oh lordy lordy lordy, what now? I have just finished reading the Pagan Lord to my husband, you say we’ll meet Uhtred again BUT WHICH UHTRED? and how long have we got to wait will OUR Uhtred at least get buried in Bebbanburg,if he really has snuffed it this time,oh what a shock I really thought he was invincible but then so did most of his enemies, which is why he half scared them to death. Do I remember rightly that in the first books he was writing his story as an old man in a monastary? Looks like I might have to do what my husband has asked and start again from the beginning and hope I can live long enough for the next edition so to speak, come to that we both hope to goodness you live long enough to finish it ,joking aside We do enjoy your books Uhtred and Sharpe being our favourites, why no films yet of Uhtred ? The film makers seem to keep doing remakes of stuff that’s been done before what a waste of money and resources when your books and Manda Scotts Bodicia books are there for the asking. Thanks a million for the hours of enjoyment we’ve had.
