Santa delivered the latest of your brilliant Saxon books to me and i look forward to getting totally enthralled again.I did,however, notice in the Saxon place names you have Wodensfield as Wednesbury, West Midlands. Wodensfield is, in fact Wednesfield, West Midlands,a distance of about 6 miles to Tettenhall,near where i live. In fact we often walk part of the ridge where the battle was supposed to have taken place. Still superb reading though.
