The Pagan Lord – Wonderful! Great writing as always. Like other fans I wonder if I will live long enough to see the tale through to its end. Another 2 years is too long to wait but if that’s what it takes than that is what must happen.

Well………… I just finished reading “The Pagan Lord”. It is as good or better than the previous novels. They are ALL fantastic. I read “Death of Kings twice (accidently). I have read all of your  novels and look forward to your next. Uhtred HAS to take Bebbanburg. Thank you for all of your works.

I began reading The Last Kingdom about six weeks ago and was very excited at how utterly the writing/tale absorbed me. On finishing I was relentless in my pursuit of the other books in the series and have just finished The Pagan Lord, and simply have to say bravo Mr. Cornwell, you are some writer/storyteller! I intend to reread the lot prior to the next installment. Many thanks for these stories, and I now look forward with eager anticipation to beginning the Arthur series.
