Dear Mr. Cornwell,

after surfing the email and comments I was happy to see that another Saxon tale with Uhtred is in the works after the Pagan Lord. Also I have really enjoyed Uthred’s (your) reference and description of the “nailed god”. But a warning, if you are one of those that  believes in all that silly stuff about ever lasting life in heaven, etc. Remember that Bishop Asser, is a historical figure, and might have some words or worse for you up there.. Unfortunately, Beocca and Pyrlig (excuse my spelling) are your inventions and won’t be there to help  you!!
