I just wanted to thank you:

I was diagnosed as being dyslexic at quite a young age, my writing was far behind that of my peers and reading was a torture. Indeed my teachers were recommending I focus on physical studies as academia was ‘not for me’.
Then at the age of 11 my father handed me Sharpe’s Tiger on a whim and suggested I might like it… I have since consumed every book you have ever written. Your books fed my curiosity and imagination but importantly they taught me to read and how to write. Fifteen years later I work for PwC as a consultant and rely on my reading and writing daily, I read avidly and love history. I know that if it hadn’t been for your books thing would be very different.
