I just came across this link, and thought I must write I have read a great many of your books and have just finished the Pagan Lord and I have to say thank you for the entertainment and pleasure you have given me over the last 10 years since I first picked up a Sharpe Novel on Holiday and thought it was phenomenal.  I have to say I was dubious about reading it thinking it would just be a weak TV story, how wrong, It was spellbinding and I couldn’t put it down and I can honestly say that for every one of your books that I have read with the Saxon Chronicles being probably my favourite.

Anyway I won’t waste any more of your time when you should be pulling together another story about Uhtred !, I just wanted to tell you that you have given me hours of pleasure and I am truly thankful and I hope one day I have the pleasure of meeting you
