Sharpe’s Waterloo – Great book, and thank you. I particularly enjoyed the depiction of the battle at Quatre Bras on Friday, when General Kellermann led the cavalry charge against the British infantry in line formation. I showed the passage to my wife, Liza Kellermann, a descendent of the General’s, and she got a kick out of it. We had wondered if a Kellermann would make it into one of your books.

I look forward to reading your nonfiction account of the Waterloow campaign. Sharpe’s version is clarifying some points I’ve never understood about it.
