Hello Bernard,

Having started to read your excellent book Waterloo not long after reading Sharpe’s Waterloo made me think that there can’t be many more stories to feature our hero of the Maharatta and Peninsula wars. Do you have any ideas for a new hero? The Uthred books are fantastic but I’m wondering if there was a more recent period that perhaps may take your fancy, pre-Sharpe but post Uthred I mean. Also as this is the 200th Anniversary of Waterloo do you think such an historic event should have a lot more recognition as I have heard very little about events to commemorate it?
