Hi there!

I’ve been an enormous fan of the Sharpe series for years now, ever since I picked up a very old, very battered copy of Sharpe’s Sword at a market when I was surely no more than 9 or 10 years old!

One question has bothered me for a while now though and I’ve given up trying to crack it on my own. What happened to Major Forrest? As long as I have been reading and loving your books I’ve never seen a reference as to what happened to him post Peninsular War!

If this is an oversight by me, I would love to hear; the question has been burning me for far too long, thank you!
