Have you seen this display? (Link to video below.) Very interesting, I thought. This Danish archer has found out that in the past archers often put the arrow on the right not left side of the bow and held the arrows in the draw hand (which is, apparently, very difficult) rather than have them in a quiver. He thinks he knows the reasons for these choices and demonstrates. I don’t know how much of this could apply to longbows, but it’s certainly fascinating.
