Read your Waterloo and enjoyed it very much. Am now reading Sharpe’s Waterloo too, about half way through. Also very enjoyable.
However on p261 I think there may be a typo. It’s at the bottom of the page, where Sharpe is asked where the Germans (Prussians) will come from.
” ‘From over there.’ Sharpe pointed to the west, far beyond the elm tree and beyond the left flank of Wellington’s line.” I think the ‘west’ is meant to be ‘east’, if I’m not mistaken.
The edition I’m reading is the Harper Collins paperback 2012.
If someone has already pointed out this typo, apologies for disturbing you.
