I write in response to a question from reader Aurélie of Feb 14th re Breteuil & Navarre. I believe the book in question is ‘1356’ and if memory serves a similar question was asked by another reader shortly after its publication. Your response was that at that time the kingdom of Navarre did include land further north, likely through marriage.
