Greetings from the heartland of America!  I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the research you put into your tales of Uhtred.  The books are riveting and I can hardly put them down.  One of my friends gifted me the first in the series for my 50th birthday and I have now read the first 6, and am excited to read the rest.  I a man Asatru heathen. and have spent a great deal of time researching the old ways of my ancestors, and you really have done the period justice.  Your stories are vivid and it is easy to see, in your mind, the battles, the intrigue, the smells and sights of the times.  Hail to you Mr. Cornwell!
