I have been an avid fan of your writing for a good while now , Sharpe , Starbuck, but only recently did I come across the warlord series and only today did I finish Excalibur. I had already purchased the books on uthred so immediately started the last kingdom. I have always believed in Arthur more or less in the form that you have written , thank you so much for all the books I have read and will read of yours but most of all thank you for sparking my imagination back up on Arthur. I’m Australian mostly of Irish and English ancestry but am a direct descendant of a man called John Randall an African American convict that arrived in Australia on the first fleet. Don’t worry I’m not asking you to write a book but I think you would find his story most interesting , from slavery to the American revolution to an Australian convict. Googling Afro Australia’s of the first fleet will get you straight there. I guess I’m offering you a story as a thanks for the stories you have given me.
