Hello Mr Cornwell! A friend and I recently decided it would be a good idea to each compile a list of five people we’d most like to meet for a pint. You appeared on both lists, in esteemed company I assure you, as we both thought a conversation with your good self would be compelling, enriching and genial. This led me to ponder: if Bernard were to choose five people, living or otherwise, to meet down the local for an evening’s company and conversation, who would he choose and why?
